2022 Open House!

This Saturday, July 2 the Boat Club will be celebrating the official start of our 2022 season! We will be open from 11 am to 3 pm for our Open House BBQ and Free Try-It Day!

Come on down, check out our fleet (canoes, kayaks and stand-up paddles boards), and our amazing new, fully accessible docks, or just hang out, catch up with friends and grab a bite!

Now is the time to update your membership as our fees will increasing July 3!! Camp registration is open and although some are filling quickly, there is still room in our Friday Laser Clinics for youth. (more information can be found here).

And of course, our well loved Book Store will by open and full of that perfect summer read for the beach!

2022 Job Posting

The 1 x Summer Program Coordinator will play a major role in developing and overseeing all aspects of running the programs this summer at the WIBC. These include the sailing, rowing, kayaking and canoeing activities that will include our learn-to programs, member activities and rentals.

$17/hour, 30 hours/week, 9 weeks. Anticipated start date: June 25, 2022

The 2 x Summer Counsellor will assist the Summer Program Coordinator with the planning and implementation of the programs at the Wolfe Island Boat Club. One will be responsible for assisting with the general maintenance of the boats and grounds and the other will run the Book Sale store.

$16/hour, 30 hours/week, 9 weeks. Anticipated start date: June 25, 2022.

Recommended Qualifications may include: CANSail Certified Instructor, Paddling Instructor, Lifeguard, Current First Aid, PCOC, experienced sailor, paddler, camp counsellor.
